About
LETS GO MENTAL
Founded in 2018
Our founder and CEO suffered a mental health breakdown in 2015, she was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety disorder.
It took her falling ill to realize there is insufficient information and support around mental health in Kenya. It’s her experience over the past few years that led her to an indomitable desire to set up Let’s Go Mental Kenya in 2018. Walking her treatment journey alone gave her the desire to help other people in similar situations, and her empathy for them led her to become a mental health advocate.
